Kathryn Maddox

Kathryn brings a unique perspective to her training sessions.   She began taking Pilates in 2009 to decrease chronic lower back pain and had quick relief from pain but also found a love for the Stott Pilates methods and training.  Pilates allowed her to regain the movement and pain free lifestyle she enjoys.  The power of her Pilates experience, coupled with her enthusiasm for training and helping others, led her into the training program to become a STOTT Certified Pilates Instructor. Kathryn is now a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor!
Kathryn creates individualized workout programs for clients who want to increase core strength and flexibility, improve posture and help prevent injury.  She utilizes a wide variety of spring based equipment and incorporates floor work while teaching breathing and concentration techniques.  Kathryn believes that Pilates is a life long learning process and she is passionate about sharing the power of Pilates with others.   Kathryn has a B.A. from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL in Business Administration and Marketing.

 

 Ania Chee

Second generation of professional gymnasts Ania became a Level 10 athlete at the age of 12. Throughout her athletic career Ania’s conditioning program included daily equipment Pilates training. Strongly believing in Pilates discipline, it’s principles and mentality Ania decided to not only continue with Pilates herself but become an instructor and help others understand the value and life style Pilates provides.

Now Ania is a fully STOTT Pilates certified instructor and also a USF students currently studding sports science. Her passion for movement and detailed explanations show in her hard work and carries on to her clients.

Ania is patient teacher who will safely and effectively help you achieve your goals.

Connie Bainbridge

After a brush with breast cancer in 2005, Connie became very interested in mind-body modalities and general fitness.  She became a dedicated student of pilates, tai chi, and qigong.  She has studied for 8 years with a master tai chi instructor and has taught tai chi classes and workshops.  She has trained in Stott Pilates for 10 years with Maria Ivanova and has completed over 1,000 hours of practice.   Connie also recently spent 4 years paddling on a Tampa Bay dragon boat racing team consisting entirely of female cancer survivors and continues to teach a weekly tai chi class to that team.

Connie retired in 2011 from a 27-year career with Verizon that included senior manager positions in both I.T. & Marketing.  She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and an M.S. degree in Computer Information Science.  She has a tai chi instructor’s certificate from the Tai Chi for Health Institute and Taiji Fit.  She recently completed all the core Stott Pilates instructor training classes and is currently studying for the Stott Pilates certification.
