Melody Mason-WilifordMelody Mason-Wiliford traveled internationally as an adage dancer before turning to the fitness industry where she settled in the United States to work as a personal trainer. Pilates complimented her own philosophies of obtaining strength and flexibility through perfect posture and mind body connection, it was the natural step to obtaining pilates training through the University of Las Vegas and then Stott Pilates. Until recently Melody worked for a physical therapy institute where her knowledge in pilates was used for rehabilitating patients before moving to Florida and working for Euro Pilates. She is one of three instructors in the State of Florida to obtain instructor training status through the highly accredited Stott Pilates method. |

Alda DelatorreAlda Delatorre began her therapy studies in Vermont where she graduated from the University of Vermont in 1998 with a degree in Physical Therapy. Over the last ten years Alda has worked in multiple therapy environments with both children and adults. Alda began her career in neurological Rehabilitation at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX where she was part of a research study team that focused on Constraint Induced Therapy for individuals suffering from either hand or arm paralysis following a severe stroke. The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) offered her a position in the outpatient program where she worked in the pediatric program and prosthetic training and rehabilitation department until she moved to Tampa, FL in 2003. Orthopedic rehabilitation was her next calling and she worked with a variety of patience from pregnant women experiencing pelvic and lower back pain , professional athletes with sport related issued and every other type client requiring rehabilitation. Alda started taking Pilates classes at Euro Pilates after the birth of her second son and was so impressed with the results that she decided to make a career change and become a Pilates instructor. |

Dawn LindowDawn has worked in the operating room as a surgical technician and first assistant for the past twenty years. She has worked in various locations, including Tampa General Hospital, Duke Medical Center, Medical University of South Carolina, Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA, and, for the past ten years, Pepin Heart Hospital here in Tampa. From each of these institutions Dawn acquired knowledge, and from long hours in the operating room learned the importance of good physical condition in maintaining health, well-being and body awareness. Dawn’s commitment to her physical, mental and spiritual balance has been extensive. Weight training, cycling, kickboxing, spinning, martial arts, downhill skiing, boot camp training, and Bikram and Hatha yoga have all been areas of physical and emotional disciplines she has participated in. Stott Pilates became an instant match for Dawn’s personal fitness goals. She found the simultaneous focus on building both strength and flexibility as well as developing core stability provides the elusive harmony of mind and muscle. The decision to teach Stott Pilates was a natural extension of her passion for this method. Keri ClareKeri Clare has had a lifelong passion for health and fitness. She graduated with a BS degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995. She began her career as a Wellness Coordinator for Rehab Visions Physical Therapy, working alongside physical and occupational therapists, and also trained high school and college athletes at Nebraska Sports Acceleration. While studying Respiratory Therapy, she later worked in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. After having two children and moving to Tampa, FL, she started working at Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy and Personal Training in 2005. She found her passion for Pilates while taking classes with Maria Ivanova and Mona Jones-Romansic. She realized she was using muscles she hadn’t used since before giving birth to her children. At that point she decided to become a Pilates instructor and help others get “the connection”. She has found Pilates inspiring in focusing on proper body mechanics to strengthen the body for the rigors of daily life, while sculpting a long, lean, and beautiful physique. She is fully certified STOTT instructor and TRX trainer. Keri continues to obtain her knowledge and expertise by attending variety of courses and workshops in the country. “I am very excited to be part of EuroPilates. Kin CornwellKim’s love of movement began at an early age taking dance lessons. She continued her dance training for 17 years, was a member of Salem College’s dance company, and was the director of the tap and jazz program at the Lynchburg Fine Arts Center in Lynchburg, Va. Sixteen years ago, after the birth of her first child, she began teaching group fitness classes of all types. With her fitness and dance background Pilates was a natural next step in her fitness education. Kim received her Pilates Certification through the Body Arts and Science Institute with over 300 comprehensive hours of training, observation, self practice and teaching. She also has her group certification through AFAA. Kim has a BA from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC, with a major in Economics and Economics-Management. She just recently moved here from Raleigh, NC with her husband and 3 children. |
