Many women find Pilates to be one of best exercises to do, both during and after their pregnancy. One the top reasons Pilates and pregnancy go together so well is that Pilates is great at building core strength. If your abdominals, back, and pelvic floor/Kegel muscles are toned, they will support a more comfortable pregnancy. Pilates is also famous for helping new moms get their figures back after baby is born!
We tailor our Pilates programs to each of our clients, so you can be sure you're embarking on a fitness regimen that is appropriate during your pregnancy.
In addition to working with you during your pregnancy, we also have instructors who can work with you following your pregnancy. Euro Pilates trainers are fully certified, and each has an area of specialization, so we can partner you with an instructor who really understands your needs. |
| Pilates is one of the most popular fitness routines for pregnant women. Pilates exercises, both those performed on specialized equipment and on workout mats, emphasize controlled breathing while working on the core muscles. By strengthening the abdominal, back, and pelvic floor muscles, Pilates can lead to a more comfortable pregnancy. |
Getting into a post natal fitness routine can be difficult on your own. As some of your muscles have weakened, you may feel discouraged. By taking post natal Pilates classes, however, you can work with a motivating instructor who will customize a Pilates routine to that is comfortable for you.
Post natal Pilates class is designed to strengthen pelvic floor, abdominal and deep postural muscles, to help you regain your pre-pregnancy fitness and energy. Specific emphasis is placed on improving body mechanics, proper posture and lifting techniques.
